It’s time for another team member profile. This week meet Lee, one of our lead videographers. Lee is our “steady eddy”. He’s calm, cool and collected. I have spent many years working side by side with Lee, and I don’t think I have ever seen him get flustered once. He knows exactly what to say and what to do. He is so easy going, and our brides and grooms feel right at home with him. He is multi-talented man and a great asset to our team here at AMC Video. Just take a look at Lee’s profile and you will quickly see what I mean:
Lee is Currently pursuing his doctorate degree from Boston University, where he completed his Master’s Degree. His keen artistic eye and talent for capturing the moment make him a natural and compelling cinematographer.. In addition, Lee’s expertise extends beyond the camera: he’s also an Adobe certified expert and web master.
“Understanding the editing process and what goes on after the shooting is done is critically important. That knowledge of film composition enables me to be a better cinematographer, because I know which shots will look good and will really work in the final film.”
With Lee’s attentiveness to detail, personable personality, and belief in creating unique, beautiful and high quality film, it’s no surprise that his videos have been continuously praised by our clients. Furthermore, Lee’s knowledge and creative skill have helped AMC become one of the most sought after wedding and special event film companies in Southwest Florida

Employee Spotlight! Up first is Matias! Everyone loves Matias! We are very happy to have Matias be part of our team. He is extremely talented and I have to say is the most positive person I have ever met. Sometimes we call him Mr. Lucky. Things just go his way. You just can’t help smile when you are around him. We are the lucky ones to have been working with Matias for the past 5 years! If you are lucky, Matias will be filming your wedding!
Here is Matias’s impressive bio:
Having worked in post production and audio design for such prestigious companies as HBO, Cinemax, Warner, and Disney, Matias has been bringing his artistic talents to AMC for the past five years. A distinguished videographer, his instinctive nature and natural ability allow him to effortlessly capture the unique essence of each wedding.
Matias is also AMC’s Jib master and looks forward to our cinematic weddings where he can employ some more creative techniques and equipment like the Jib to make wedding videos as cinematic as possible!
Matias, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, earned his bachelor’s degree in Film from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. “I’ve always been drawn to the inherent emotions of weddings, and grasping that on film and composing it in such a way to create a unique, personalized work of art is extraordinary. You’ve only got one chance to capture the beauty, timelessness, and love in each wedding, so it’s critical to have someone experienced behind the camera.”
While Matias finds inspiration in filming and post production, he’s currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration and plans to combine that knowledge in his future endeavors at AMC.
Stay tuned for more AMC artist spotlights!
Julie and Zak came all the way from Chicago to get married in the beautiful Naples Botanical Garden. The big day happened on Saturday February, 20 2010.
We started with Julie that morning while she was getting her hair done with her girls at the salon. This is always fun to capture. Then we went on to the boys who were hanging out at a nearby hotel. Both Bride and Groom were super excited for the moment to arrive.
The Naples Botanical Garden is such a pretty spot for a ceremony. Just take a look at the ceremony site in the picture below. Seaside Strings played for us and Rev Les Wicker performed the intimate ceremony. Afterward, our couple headed down to the beach for some photo/video time. We were joined by Tonya Malay and her team. Then onto Kensington Golf and Country Club for our reception where Brett Foreman and his Band entertained the crowd of about 150 people. This entire event was planned by Kelly of No Worries Weddings and Events.
At the end of the evening our newlyweds took off in a decorated golf cart. It was perfect. Well done!
