Karol and Aaron came all the way from Wisconsin to have a destination wedding here on Sanibel Island! On Friday, January 22, 2010 Karol and Aaron tied the knot at the Sundial Beach and Golf Resort on Sanibel Island. Reverend Daniel Hagmaier performed the intimate ceremony for about 35 guests. Maria, from the Sundial was there to make sure that Karol had not a worry in the world as she walked down the aisle to meet her groom under the archway. Congratulations to our newlyweds.
What a fantastic way to start the new year with a spectacular wedding celebration at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island. Ashley and Grant had an amazing weekend. We started with our couple on Friday night, January 1st for their rehearsal dinner. Guests were treated to a sunset cruise aboard the Blue Lady with Captiva Cruises, followed by a delicious dinner. We love to capture rehearsal dinners. They are so many great toasts and our bride and groom are so excited for what lies ahead.
The next day we started REALLY early. Rob and his team were at the golf course while the groomsmen teed off at 8 am in order to capture a lit bit of all the festivities. We also were able to catch the bridal lunch and the grooms lunch poolside at the cabanas. If you have not checked out the cabanas at South Seas Island Resort, I suggest you do so! TV, refrigeration, couches, it is all you can imagine and more.
The big moment finally arrived and Ashley and Grant were wed at Sunset Cove overlooking the clear blue waters of the Gulf Of Mexico on Saturday, January 2, 2010. The reception followed under a gorgeous tent on Kings Crown lawn. Take a look at the picture of inside the tent below. SO PRETTY ! We worked along side with Tonya Malay and her assistant Emma - who surely captured some great photographs.
Our bride and groom departed for the evening with a sparkler exit and jumped back onto the Blue Lady to sail off into the night. This entire event was well planned by Kelly McWilliams and her terrific staff at Weddings By Socialites.
The Directors Cut for Ashley and Grant will be posting soon to our HD gallery and I can wait to see it! It will surely be one of our favorites.
Congratulations to Ashley and Grant. A perfect wedding and a great way to start 2010.
Ben and Eunice were married on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Faith Bible Church in Naples. Their ceremony was beautiful. Ben and Eunice are an adorable couple. Their photographer, Jamie Lee of Jamie Lee Photography sent me this picture today. I just had to post it.
Ainsley and Ryan were married under the outdoor amphitheater at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers on Saturday January 2, 2010. This was my first wedding of 2010 and Lee and I were excited about starting bright and early that morning. It was also the first time we worked with Rafael of Studio Rafael Photography who was a pleasure to work with. Randy Bender played tunes for our newlyweds and the afternoon was filled with joy. The day was picture perfect with Vanessa, the event coordinator at Pelican Presreve assuring that all was beautiful for our new bride and groom.
Congratulations Ainsley and Ryan on your new life together! What a great way to ring in the new year! Below are a few pictures. Check out the picture of this really cool grooms cake. Yes, it was all edible.
Here is a picture that their photographer, Rafael Hernandez sent me. I just love this one! Thank you Rafael!
Elizabeth and Kevin were married on Sunday December 20, 2009 at the Ritz Carlton Beach Resort in Naples Florida. Rob, Steven and I started with our bride and groom as they saw each other for the first time before they signed their Ketubah. Check out the photo below to see just how pretty it was! After some pictures and a Ketubah signing, the couple were married at sunset under a gorgeous Chuppah in the Center Court of the Ritz Carlton.
Flowers were designed by Stacey from the talented http://www.petalpushers.us/ Be sure to check out more flower pics from this wedding and more at her site!
We were joined by Amiee and Eric of Michelle Reed Photography. The band was outrageous. They were called The Tyrone Smith Revue out of Nashville, Tennessee . They certainly kept this crowd entertained throughout the evening. This was a destination wedding, our bride and groom and all 100 guests were mostly from Texas. This was planned entirely by Caplan-Miller Events. The night was PERFECT.
Congratulations to Elizabeth and Kevin. A fairy tale wedding that was well planned and absolutely gorgeous.
The decor at this wedding was amazing. Take a look at a few quick pictures to see what I am talking about! Also - a picture of our newlyweds.
Tonight Rob and I were at our last wedding of the year, and right before the ceremony a woman approached us all excited to tell us that her daughter was getting married there next November. She started telling us all the wonderful details and then she told us that she really wanted videography of the day, but her daughter was hesitant. When we asked her why, she said that her daughter was afraid the videographers would be running around and very obtrusive. I hear this all the time. I told her, that a good videographer is never noticed. I don’t know if we convinced her but when I came home I read this email from our 12/26 bride’s mother:
I get this email all the time. We are often asked by our brides if we were even at the ceremony because they never saw us there ! I love it. This means we are doing a good job. We don’t want to be noticed. And apparently we are successful!
Okay, so I said I would blog about every wedding we shot in 2009 and I really did ! I can not say I will do the same for 2010. We will wait and see. I am really excited because we are going to be launching a new website very soon, we have new packages and pricing for 2010 and we have are ready for another exciting year. Thank you all of our brides and grooms for putting your trust in AMC VIDEO. Happy New Year!
Our final wedding of 2009 and it couldn’t of been more perfect.
Kelly and Timothy came to South West Florida from the cold state of Ohio on Wednesday December 30, 2009 to get married on the waters edge at Sanibel Harbour. It was a picture perfect day. Not too hot, not too cold. Our bride and groom were married by boat captain Kevin who works for Sanibel Harbour. Tina of Eventz took care of the decor and floral arrangements and it was just perfect for our newlyweds. The entire wedding was planned by Confetti Events out of Tampa, Florida.
What a perfect way to start 2010, with a new marriage. Congratulations to our last 2009 bride and groom!
Bree and Michael were wed on Saturday December 26, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort in Bonita Springs, Florida. Bree and Michael saw each other before the ceremony for their Ketubah signing. Afterwards, they said their I-do’s and went right into enjoying their reception. After their introductions, a first dance, and the oh so fun Hora Dance - our couple sat down to enjoy their dinner. We were joined by Michelle Reed Photography who is sure to deliver amazing photos. One of the highlights of the evening was the Zumba Dance which the entire crowd seemed to enjoy! Bree and Michael had a wonderful evening and I am so glad we were able to capture the day! Mazel Tov to our newest married couple! Check out the pictures of the beautiful room decor and the delicious cake!
Today we took our team out for a casual lunch at the new restaurant Marker 92 at the Resort at Marina Village in Cape Coral. This is a brand new resort and will be hosting some wonderful luxury weddings! Naturally, we can not wait to work there.
Our lunch at the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of lunch dishes featured including fish and chicken sandwiches, salads, and soups, and more. Next time, we will go for dinner and post a few pics from the menu to showcase this new location in more detail! Anyone that lives in the Cape knows that we are always hopeful for new and exciting places to eat!
